I think part of his gallery is still functional. Be warned, some still think his work is supposidly offensive.

One of the more acceptable reasons he was banned is because he does fanart nudes of cartoon characters. Cartoon characters that are of course from fictional sources. Most of them are furries and non-humans. Feivil Mousekiwitz was his favorite drawing nude which is really normal for a mouse.

The funny thing is that most devartist mistok this as "child porn" and pushed for the ban against my Brother.

Well, its arguable, but my brother just draws nudes, all simple standing poses, never were any of them in any sexual nature. If you see it as porn than that is the viewers opinion of it.

Well, its still good to hear arguements for and against his work.

I think that's b/c despite the fact your bro took pains to state that Fieval was older in his drawings, most ppl still think of him as an 8 yr old....boy (mouse?). He, like you, does INCREDIBLE cel-style scenes. What's your names on Furaffinity?

deviant art has always been really touchy about the content of anthro/furry art. I don't really both putting much of my furry art up here because it gets ignored anyway, there's much better sites for it (like FA or VCL).

Its when they ban drawings of naked/suggestive humans that gets my ire... because they leave plenty more explicit PHOTOS around, but draw the same thing and it becomes questionable. ugh.

Thank you for comments. Well, needless to say I have been gone from Devart for awhile and I have never bothered to see the upgraded Dev policy. Nor do I care much anymore.

Another thing is that his early standing "erect" pose of Feivel pics, especially the Chibi "Rini" Usa + Shingo "Sammy" Usagai drawing was made about 10 years ago. Drawn out of frustration because he hated Rini on Sailor Moon english version. It was only when Photoshop became affordable he redid them and later post them on Devart.

You must have an account with adult settings to view them, otherwise the gallery will appear empty. Still, aside from the furries, his most controversial pic of Chibi and Shingo are still there. That is the only human cub pic he has ever done. Just a warning on such senstive subject matter.

All in all, Devart is a great place for many inspiring and already established artists can share there work. Art is in the eye of the beholder.

Thank you for the comments. Yeah, I did noticed that about photography. Oh well. I've heard some people saw one of Norman Rockwell's paintings as pornographic. I think it was the one with the policeman smiling down at a child in a malt shop or something.

Sigh. Well, I guess I'll put Billy Rex's Canadian maple leaf wool cap covering his manhood so I can upload that pic on Devart.

Hmmmph. Sorry he got banned. While the art was edgey, I think you're right that his biggest offense was that they were VERY well done deviations of commercial characters.

Sorry, I only saw that one Fieval pic you faved. Everything was deleted when I got there.

From some of the many people who have had their art labeled as pornography, I can picture that his work probably just judged because it seemed too suggestive, but probably wasn't. Funny how it's alright when it's photos, but put it on a canvas and WOAH...call the cops
