This is a final version of what was once just a sketch of Robin unmasked I did awhile ago. The composition was based on the episode where Slade had Robin turned to his side to protect the rest of his Teen Titan friends. I only saw the episode once so I had to make up Robin's Slade costume by memory. (shrugs)

The episode scene was very interestingly well done by the writers and animators. My interpretation of that scene was Robin's acknowledgement that Batman, Bruce Wayne, like a father, in part made Robin what he is today. Since I only saw this episode only once, there is the scene as I remember it:

Slade: "Good, Robin. Soon enough, I could be like a father to you."
Robin: "I already have a father."
Camera pans up as bats fly upward toward the moon.

Of course another thing that comes up is that this little helps explain the debate as to which Robin of Teen Titans this is, Dick Grayson or Tim Drake. As of now, I believe it is Dick due to the original Teen Titans comic and Nightwing. Also the fact that Dick wore the Robin costume with red, green, black, and yellow. While Tim wore the red, black, and yellow Robin costume.
