This is a request I completed for a friend of mine, DigiRanmna for his Digimon Tamers story The Freak. You can find it at his MediaMiner page: [link]
D, a Vampire, is the large character in the middle. The image on the ground was supposed to be a Yin Yang symbol but its view is being obscured by the foreground cast. Most of the Digimon cels, especially Guilmon, I recreated from their famous poses. Ruki's overall pose and uniform was inspired by CLAMP.
The composition was a bit difficult to visualize because of the high angle shot. Please pardon the inconsistancy in perspective and scaling. Also, to make the pic a bit like an actual poster, I added a grain effect.

It's been SO long since I've seen 'em! *wishes for re-run*
I was wondering who the character in the middle was. I was thinking "Weird, I know I never forget a hot looking character..."(lol) Yup, I can see CLAMP influence on Ruki, gray school outfit suits her nicely. Koi fish in the background reminds me of Japan.....

0_0! How do you do that? You know, keep on producing shit-my-pants amazing quality work every time? Give me all your secrets so I can keep them in a jar under my bed. I'd really love to see a tutorial on how you clean your sketches, ink and colour. Because... wow. Great stuff.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
